The Vegan Friends DAO was founded with a simple idea in mind: to address the core challenges faced by the vegan community and make a meaningful impact.
Our mission is to unite people who are passionate about a vegan lifestyle. We work together on projects that support our cause, share valuable knowledge, and help each other grow in our understanding and advocacy of veganism.
We make decisions collectively through a transparent voting system powered by blockchain technology, ensuring that everyone’s voice matters and our organization remains accountable.
To recognize and reward the contributions of our members, we use unique digital collectibles. These not only celebrate involvement but also help fund our initiatives through the art economy.
We believe in making compassionate and sustainable living easy for everyone.
Our ultimate goal is to inspire change and build a inclusive vegan movement.
Understanding the DAO Structure
In a Vegan Friends DAO, the Community, Members and Core Team each play distinct roles.
Community
Anyone can join the community group to participate in discussions, create and share art and music, support their favourite artists, exchange ideas, and contribute to initiatives. Active participants are rewarded with VF tokens.
Members
The group is open to active community members with VF tokens or VF official collectibles. Members can propose new DAO initiatives as well as request funding for their own vegan-related projects.
Core Team (Council)
A smaller group responsible for making high-level decisions, voting on proposals, overseeing everyday operations, and guiding the organization toward its long-term goals.
